  理由

  有研究質疑對於60歲以上的低密度膽固醇與心臟病的關聯可能不存在。然而數十年來累積的研究資料不斷顯示服用降膽固醇藥可以降低死亡率，且副作用輕微。有可能這幾種研究都是對的：藥確實有效，但可能是以其他途徑作用的。
